The Art Gallery of Western Australia

The Art Gallery of Western Australia, founded on 31 July 1895, was opened by Sir Alexander Onslow.

A rich and inspiring resource for all Western Australians, the collection offers remarkable insights into the development of art in this State, the country and the world. One of the Collection's key strengths is its pre-eminent holdings of Western Australian indigenous and non-indigenous art.
