As a Senior Research Executive, Rita manages the design and delivery of research projects through all stages of the project’s lifecycle. She is a highly organised person who takes pride in the work that she produces and works closely with colleagues within Morris Hargreaves McIntyre to make sure that projects are delivered to, and above, the clients expectations.
Before working at Morris Hargreaves McIntyre, Rita worked as a Data and Evaluation Officer for a national homelessness charity in the UK. She worked on a range of internal evaluation projects and sector-wide research projects to increase outcomes for young homeless people in the UK. This work greatly improved the way they used data to improve services and increase funding streams.
Rita has a scientific mind – she has a Batchelor degree in Biomedical Science – but is also interested in the social aspects of health. She is currently studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Global Health which looks at how social science approaches to research can help support policy change around the world.
Rita is always looking to keep her mind active with new ventures but also likes to take time out to unwind. A typical evening would involve going to a spin class at the gym, followed by dinner on the sofa with a gripping TV crime drama.
