As a Data Analyst, Mason is responsible for writing and programming our surveys, data quality analysis and output, as well as properly weighting and maintaining large databases.
When it comes to quantitative analysis, Mason brings a lot to the table in both knowledge and experience. Before joining MHM, he completed a BSc in Economics at SUNY Oneonta, which included a year of language study in Japan, before taking an MA in Economics at the University of Manchester. His thesis on health and discrimination dynamics included working on a database with a sample size of over 50,000 respondents and over 5,000 unique variables. You can always trust in his ability to dive through massive amounts of data and find unique insight.
When at home, you’ll probably find him at a PC playing competitive computer games. Otherwise, he also loves to travel, cook, snowboard and run long-distance.
