Lucy consults, plans and delivers work for the cultural sector, primarily in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Her primary professional purpose has always been to connect art with its audience to create social change.
Lucyhas experience, authority and credibility when facilitating sessions at asenior level, with Boards and leadership teams. Crucially, she is able to understand the multiple pressures senior staff face – from writing funding proposals, driving up revenue and ensuring their market position remains distinctive - alongside the need to hear challenging questions to improve their work.
Lucy leads MHMs work with clients including Sydney Opera House, Arts Centre Melbourne, MCA,NGV, National Sports Museum, Circus Oz and a number of the most significant performing arts companies in Australia. Work delivered has focused audience growth, developing sustainable income and enabling audiences to develop their relationships with cultural organisations.
Before MHM, Lucy was Managing Director of Victorian Opera, following a move to Australia. She has held senior positions at Melbourne International Comedy Festival,Welsh National Opera, the National Museums of Scotland, Scottish Ballet,English National Ballet and Time Out. She also ran her own agency – CityMedia – in Glasgow.
Her downtime is spent attending all art-forms, watching sport, reading and drinking coffee.
