Laura Karban
Senior Research Executive
As a Senior Research Executive, Laura designs, analyses and reports on a variety of research projects to uncover insight about the cultural sector and its audiences. The role is hugely varied and ranges from facilitating focus groups to writing reports to meeting clients.
Laura’s expertise lies in managing complex projects for clients including: the Smithsonian Institution; SFMOMA; the National Trust; the Museum of Fine Art, Boston; English Heritage, and; 14-18 NOW. Her work ranges from large scale programme evaluation or exhibition formative and summative testing, to tackling unique and often unusual research challenges. In all of her work Laura enjoys taking complex raw data through to actionable recommendations.
Prior to working for MHM, Laura worked as the Communications and Research Manager for a UK-wide charity and, before this, completed an MA in Research Methodology. This has given her a broad understanding of all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research.
Laura now lives in Liverpool and, while she’s not making the most of the cultural offerings there, you might find her getting out into the countryside.
