Junior Developer - Manchester

We are currently recruiting a Junior Developer as part of our newly established Software team.
In this role you’ll take part in all the key aspects of building quality software, from client contact to live deployments.
Working with a broad set of technologies and techniques, while continuing to develop your own skill set, with the support of an internal Senior Developer as well as external mentors.

An excellent communicator, you’ll be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, giving clear advice and information.
Keen to learn and take your place as a key part of a small software development team, you’ll be a curious ‘question asker’ and a sponge in detailed discussions. You’ll be willing to take an active part in exploring issues and to give opinions about complex concepts.
Proactive about managing your own priorities and able to fill in any blanks in your knowledge with self-guided learning.
A basic level of experience with web technologies and PHP will be an advantage for this role.Time spent working with a PHP MVC framework would allow you to hit the ground running.
Salary: £23,000 - 25,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Contract: Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week)
Holidays: 22 + bank holidays and Christmas shutdown (3 days). Full flexible working policy in place.
