A natural problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, Fran is in his element when navigating the technical challenges of survey database creation and administration. As a data analyst, he translates surveys 'on-paper' into professional, often-complex databases, and especially enjoys balancing functionality with aesthetic and ergonomic design. Once the data is collected, his attention to detail proves especially useful when analysing large amounts of entangled information and presenting it clearly, allowing much deeper insight to be gathered.
Fran completed a Physics MPhys at Manchester University, and returned after some time spent working for a renewable energy research centre to complete a PhD in Laser Spectroscopy; so intricate issue navigation and large datasets are second nature to him. During his time at MHM he has significantly contributed to projects for many varied clients such as the Royal Academy of Arts and the British Film Institute, as well as working on large-scale audience atlas projects for BIAZA (British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums), SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art), and New York's Lincoln Center.
In his free time Fran is an avid musician and has gigged and recorded with a diverse array of bands and musicians over the last decade or more, as well as being a massive film buff and good food fanatic.
