In her role as Programme Manager, Caitlin manages all aspects of programme planning, and manages the Field Team to help deliver high quality and accurate outcomes. Previously, Caitlin worked as the Field Operations Manager and prior to that as a Research Executive at MHM, managing projects from start to finish, and conducting qualitative and quantitative research. Her previous roles have helped developed a wide understanding MHM’s operations which inform decisions and processes. She brings a wealth of knowledge on visitor engagement in museums and galleries.
Before joining MHM, she worked as the Director of Visitor Services at the Yale University Art Gallery for nearly seven years, and conducted research that shaped the gallery’s visitor experience after an extensive renovation. She thrives working in creative, dynamic groups, and has managed teams through multi-stage projects. Caitlin is specifically interested in the psychology behind visitor engagement with visual arts. She brings knowledge and experience in both the United States and United Kingdom cultural sectors to her work at MHM.
Caitlin completed her MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies at the University of Manchester. Prior to this Caitlin also received a BA in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Caitlin is thrilled to be based in Manchester, where she can easily travel around Europe. When at home, she enjoys restoring vintage leather handbags, watching documentaries on art theft and American politics, and listening to true crime podcasts.
