Lucy consults, plans and delivers work for the arts and cultural sector in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom. Lucy specialises in managing artistic risk and broad audience engagement – which is pretty close to a personal mission statement.
Before joining MHM to head up our work in Sydney, Lucy was the Managing Director of Victorian Opera (a state-based opera company in Melbourne). This CEO role followed 25 years in marketing, audience engagement and strategic communications in organisations including Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Welsh National Opera, the National Museums of Scotland, Scottish Ballet, English National Ballet, Mobil Oil and Time Out. She has spent the last two decades on a mission to connect art with audiences.
An avid attender of all art forms, downtime is spent drinking coffee, doing Pilates, Twitter and continuing to discover Australia with a healthy, occasional dose of bad TV.
